I sent in my application on the deadline (April 1st) and got my acceptance letter on April 5th.
Who will I be seeing this summer? Iâm so excited! :)</p>

<p>@mabsjen: Hahaha, define what you mean by Âamazing. My friend and teacher liked my essay, and my teachers told me that they wrote Âreally good recommendations. I think the essay was the most important part; itÂs what really shows your personality. My one teacher who knows a lot about the program said that what HSHSP is really looking for are academically strong students, but more importantly, well-rounded and enthusiastic students. So, if you managed to communicate that in your essay, you should be fine. And oh, my last name is actually towards the very end of the alphabet. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back! :)</p>
<p>@wexs: Yes I do! I was thinking of starting one later because some people may be uncomfortable without having met anyone in real life. But, itÂll definitely be done! In the meantime, keep in touch? :)</p>
