Okay it’s now June, and March/April feels like a century ago. Anyway, I just wanted to give an update that I also did receive this phone call in March and that other email AND I got admitted to HumEc. I personally believe that the call is equivalent to a likely letter, but don’t take my word for it. However, I will say that after looking through past CC posts all the way back to 2009, I found that of those who got a call, all were admitted. As for my personal opinion, I wish they didn’t do this dumb call/email thing because it’s not a legitimate guarantee or answer, so you’re stuck in this dumb limbo phase for a month before you actually find out. Anyway, good luck to all future Human Ecology applicants—wish you the best of luck:)
