<p>Big Bang Theory. Also second Eddie Izzard. Christopher Titus is another very funny comedian that I like. Great for anyone who came from a dysfunctional family or survived a dysfunctional marriage and divorce.</p>

Our kids put this on last night and H and I were in tears. I laughed so hard my head hurt–thought I was going to have a stroke. I don’t even know why it’s funny.</p>

<p>I love Reno 911 and Tosh.0! Also South Park, 30 Rock, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. For British humor, the original “The Office” and Absolutely Fabulous are great. Of course Monty Python.</p>
<p>For funny movies, Bridesmaids, Mean Girls, and Napoleon Dynamite, and Borat. I thought The Dictator was stupid yet hilarious.</p>
<p>My favorite comedy show is “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Also really like “Episodes” and Lisa Kudrow’s “Web Therapy” but I’m a huge fan of improv so that is part of the appeal of both “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Web Therapy.” While not specifically a comedy, “Nurse Jackie” is funny. </p>
<p>Books - “Bossy Pants” but go for the audiobook since Tina Fey reads it. Agree that Carl Hiassen books are funny and a great read generally.</p>
<p>For fans of Tina Fey, I recommend Baby Mama starring Tina and Amy Poehler. We watched it the other day and both thought that it was a funny and very sweet movie.</p>
<p>Yes, love “Baby Mama.” It is one of the rare movies I can watch more than once - that and “HouseSitter” with Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin and “The Jerk” with Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters.</p>

<p>I haven’t seen Baby Mama, I did see that movie Fey made with Steve Carrel.
I agree those old show like Frasier are great, & have been trying to rewatch them, eventually I hope I will get over how bad the hair and clothes are and just be grateful that in the formal portrait that H & I had taken in 1978, I have neither huge padded shoulders or big hair. Whew!</p>
<p>Speaking of bad hair and shoulder pads, I think it would be great to see Murphy Brown and Designing Women. Great casts.</p>

<p>“Murphy Brown” was great. I just finished watching a Seinfeld rerun - the one about the golf ball and the whale. I still prefer Seinfeld reruns to most of the new shows.</p>
