Glad you are at least able to keep in touch by email. Thanks to you and your spouse and all military families who serve! Hope the time passes swiftly and all return safely.

Blessings to you all! Please let us know how you are doing. Nephew has a buddy that has been in the Army for at about 2 years, and will deploy soon. I have to assume he is well trained as a medic by now, and will give great service to his fellows. It encourages me to know that they didn’t rush him out. All the best to you, and to all who wait for a safe return.

So I woke up at 3am to watch the USA women’s hockey game, not too long after it ended I got a call from!!! I’m so thankful I was up because the ringer never would of woken me up.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and support.

So glad you were awake for that phone call. I’ve never been in your situation, it must be difficult. {{hugs}}

Yah…for a phone call. They meant so much to us when S1 was deployed last year…even though he did have to climb on the roof of his building and stand in a certain spot for the call to go through!

We will be traveling to see him next weekend to celebrate his b-day. He was deployed on his B-day last year and will be deployed again on b-day in 2015 so gotta grab this one while we can. He is not married and doesn’t have a gf. I think he is intentionally not getting involved with anyone while he’s still in the Navy (EOD) because he has seen how hard it is on families.

Hope there are lots of opportunities for phone calls Aubs.
