HYP - Which Is The Best?

And Princeton #2.

We are honored with 2 Princeton ■■■■■■ today!

Hahahahaha, I always find your comments amusing.

I am not a ■■■■■. I am a real person. I do not come here to stir up problems. I show up if you say stuff about Princeton or try to unrealistically portray why Harvard is better than Princeton - Princeton being my alma mater and my D’s school and I’m proud of it. Despite of course the fact that my father, grandfather, uncle, great-grandfather, sister and brother all went to Harvard:). If you bring up true facts where Harvard is better, i.e. if you want to live in a city it’s better or certain departments or whatnot, I do not come back and try to convince you Princeton counts as a city:). For example.

Carry on.

Well there IS one crucial circumstance you, as a “real person” should disclose which, if it had turned out differently, might have dissuaded you from coming over to the Harvard board to flog for Princeton quite as lustily… I mean, you tell us a LOT about your family[s relationship to Harvard, and note that Princeton is your alma mater and your daughter’s school, but you withold that one crucial circumstance.

That said, your pride in Princeton is admirable. It is an excellent school and I have never so much as hinted to the contrary.

you guys are still arguing this?

I think it all comes down to personal preference at this level. For me, I just feel fortunate that I was accepted to these colleges. I’m not going to go knocking Yale just because I picked Harvard over it. That’s just stupid…well, until the football game).

Seriously though, when I visited Yale for the first time I thought: “If only it was in Cambridge” And my impression of Princeton was: “wow this seems to be a wonderful school- perfect even… but not for me”

So what if a school isn’t the best at everything. Name me something that is?

I have to say that the Cornel West issue is very interesting but his departure obviously hasn’t spoken for all African Americans.
