I had similar stats as you but with a lower SAT when I applied to UMich, got deferred and ultimately rejected. What people said is really true, since UM’s admission is really competitive and selective.
Yet, I got accepted as transfer for this coming fall with significant higher college GPA. My advice would be try your best and apply for now, but definitely apply to other schools which you’ll have better chance of getting admitted.
They have that covered already. The #15 ranked HS prospect in the US, #2 ranked prostyle QB, for the Class of 2021 committed to UMich a long time ago. ?
Your odds are basically nil.
So, what specifically do you like about UMich?
Posters here are quite experienced and can find universities that share some of the characteristics that appeal to you personally yet are more within reach for you.
Show your willingness to perform well academically and reattempt as a transfer I will also tell you, you will work your butt off at UMich and they need to see some evidence of that in your DNA. lastly Math Dept is brutal. Keep your dream alive but youll need discipline. A goal has many roads.
