<p>Idk why there are so many premeds… Probably because a lot of it is what Emory’s known for. Premeds are always out of proportion at top schools because it’s what a lot of smart people want to do (money, prestige, difficulty, are all attractive to 20 year olds).
frats let freshmen in because they need to look “cool” to attract pledges… having girls in your group helps but its not necessary freshman year… by your second year, youll have friends in frats so youll get in
IDR the admission process too much but I doubt the writing section matters much unless you totally messed it up. I am pretty sure you can apply ED to emory adn RD to oxford but id call the admission office and ask to be certain. it’s been too long adn i never considered oxford so i dont remember.
yea campus is diverse. lots of black people, youll have no problem fitting in. not sure about bands now that I think about it (i have a friend who does music though and I can ask him and get back to you). i dont think the school is elitist… honestly, idk why people think that… i feel it’s more of an inferiority complex than anything else… or maybe ive just been lucky to meet the right people</p>
