just want to say MEGA CONGRATULATIONS on your ND acceptance danbrenn!!! Quite an accomplishment, you must be proud. I echo all the great advice already posted, search your heart and your spirit, makes pro & cons lists, you’ll find your answer. Listen all around you and you may hear an answer where you least expect it.</p>
<p>Been around the USNA community for a lot of years & it is AWESOME, but I do LOVE the Notre Dame atmosphere and spiritual-side. We have 4 more chances for a kid to go

<p>Dash-9- there is more truth to your “dream” than you imagine! Take a lesson and pack light…better yet, don’t pack anything at all save a toothbrush and paste…and running shoes (another story)… leave everything else you might “need” with the folks, who can pack it in a box and mail it to you right from Annapolis on I-Day! The less you have, the less you have to carry… trust me, by the time the day is done, you’ll be carrying around 90 lbs of “stuff”… ;)</p>

<p>Hey, this pre I-Day doubt is completely normal. I grew up around the Naval Academy and always thought I was born to be a mid (I’m also third generation USNA). Anyways, by about this time, I deeply questioned my committment to going USNA instead of civilian life with all my friends. Plebe years has had its ups and downs, but I don’t regreat my decision at all. </p>
<p>Relax, and enjoy a few more months of civilian life.</p>
