I Don't Think I'm Smart Enough to go to a Top College

No, you DO need SAT iis of you are applying to schools like CMu And caltech. You need 1 math and 1 science.

Oh poop so now I have to waste more money to take these tests.

ComicStix,

I will reiterate what I said before -

You do NOT NEED sat ii’s, but for some colleges you actually do need them. There are plenty of schools that don’t even recommend SAT IIs, though!

I live in Massachusetts

So are you asking what schools in Massachussetts don’t require SAT IIs or what? :P

Oops I was replying to a UCAlumbnus above and it didn’t quote him lol sorry

Since you live in Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts - Amherst should be under consideration, since it has a good reputation for CS, has in-state costs (about $25,000 list price per year; try the net price calculator for financial aid estimates), and does not appear to be that hard to get into (your GPA and SAT scores appear to be relatively high in the range of admitted students, although you need to check to see if the CS major is significantly more selective than the school is overall). It does not require SAT subject tests (just SAT reasoning or ACT). But not that it does consider “level of interest” in freshman admissions, so do not assume it to be a safety.

Do a search of CS/STEM colleges, then pick those that interest you(size, location, price), then investigate the requirements, then come back here with the preliminary list to help with matching. Your wants and expectations are too vague atm for any real help to occur.
