<p>Sorry for reviving such an old thread, but I do believe that a BA in Mathematics is possible, just as a BA and a BS in Computer Science is possible. Granted, the BA will be more liberal arts and theoretical whereas the BS will probably be leaning towards a technical or applied ___ goal.</p>
<p>I think you will most likely find BAs at small, liberal arts colleges, BSs at polytechnic institutions, and a combination of BA and BS programs at large universities.</p>
