<p>None of the dorms are air-conditioned, since the weather is so nice, with only a few really hot days during the regular school year. My S is staying for summer school in an on-campus apartment. He has a fan and is comfortable so far. Of course, some of the dorms are quite old, but Stanford has done a good job remodeling them. Some are new. I think the dorm rooms are pretty nice compared to some that I have seen at other schools.
