We’ve recently dealt with financial issues relating to elderly relatives with essentially no savings, no life insurance, etc. and it ain’t pretty, to be blunt. The cost of assisted living/nursing home care is astronomical; really, it’s unbelievable. I honestly don’t know how the average person is able to afford it. Retirement savings are important.</p>
