I need something to do this summer

The cheapest summer enrichment program I’ve ever seen was about $1,500-1,800 range so if your looking to only pay about $800 you should look for something else.
I agree with BLK616 unless your planning to go to an Ivy, colleges don’t really care if you did a enrichment program during your sophomore summer. They tend to look at how many hours of community service, what clubs did you participate in, how long you have been in the club & what position you held, and how challenging your courseload has been.
If you want to learn more about colleges, the admissions process, etc. the best thing to do is just sit at the computer & research the information yourself. Maybe even take the $800 you were planning to use for the enrichment & use it to go college touring. The more schools you are able to tour before the whole admissions process begins the better, trust me. It’ll help you figure out what campus setting you like the best, how far away you want to be from home, do you like state or private schools etc.
If you reall want something to do during the summer try these:

 1. Volunteer at you local public library or soup kitchen.
 2. Tutor little kids in a subject area that you do well in.
 3. Take up another community college class.
 4. Get a part-time job.
 5. Intern at a church, school, or a parent’s workplace. (good chance at building up those ties for a letter of recommendation later on)
 6. Read the classics that aren’t on your summer reading list.
 7. Take up a new or old sport/hobby at the YMCA.
