<p>Yep, a 5 on the AP Comp Sci AB can get you into the CS 42 instead of CS 5 (though I wouldn’t recommend 42 to incoming Frosh unless you are considering the CS major or just LOVE programming). Also, not sure how that works now that they got rid of APCSAB.</p>
<p>I hear that a 5 on AP Stats may not get any credit with the new core : ( . They’re condensing the math core down to 3 semesters from 4, so Math 62 might not be a distinct class anymore.</p>
