I probably shouldn't be saying this...

<p>My son got an email last year asking him to explain 3 of his second semster senior grades which they charaterized as “uncharateristically low” and “not consistent with the high quality of your work in first semester” of senior year. They made it clear that his acceptance was not in jeopardy at all, but that he just needed to provide an explanation. So what were these sorry grades that required him to write such a letter? 2 B’s and a B-! His other 3 grades were As. Maybe this was because the previous 2 semesters he got straight As, but I was really floored that they would send a letter when he didn’t even get a C. </p>

<p>I don’t think they would pull your acceptance for a C, but I would think you would likely get a letter. it was not a big deal, they just wanted to make sure everything was ok, and you just had to repsond, but they definitely care.</p>
