I really, really want to be in BS/MD program

You need to understand more about what it takes for an admit. And pursue that. No assumptions.

Just listing grades, gpa and admitting no healthcare experience hints you don’t have a full idea what makes a great applicant.

And it wont be just vol in a hosp setting, it matters how you integrate. Nor some things CC kids come up with like vol in a senior home. Not shadowing. The effort matters.

The higher the college tier, Brown and NU, the tougher the vetting. Yes, B grades in stem- and a slightly low SAT- are a risk, as you not only want a stem major at these top colleges, but a coveted program with lower admit rates.

See if you can catch up on the understanding.

Adding. It’s not the SAT total. It’s the components.
