I thought my friend was going to die when she cut her lip at school and it started bleeding a lot.

I remember once in preschool when we were singing the morning song and I patted my friend on the back and told her “Good Job”. However, I was a strong 3 year old, and I guess I must have whacked her really hard, because the next minute she was crying and telling the teacher that I hit her. So I had to go to the principal’s office and go through an interrogation session as to why I hit her. Then I started crying and so I went home. hahaaha.

I used to think that money could buy happiness, but after reading “The Great Gatsby,” I decided that money couldn’t buy happiness. Gatsby had lots of money, but in the end, he didn’t get Daisy.

I thought that there were little leprechauns inside every TV set that just held up pictures really fast to make them look like they were moving.

I thought that in the song “Bad Moon Rising” when it says “there’s a bad moon on the rise” it was saying “there’s a bathroom on the right”

I thought that prima donna was really Pre-Madonna.

wow this has brought back some really random memories

Are you joking? How old are you? What did you get on the SAT? lol.

I did think that my private elementary school’s tuition (the fees my parents gave to the office every month) was the “phease,” a specific noun lol

hahaha you remind me of a friend of mine who just defines cynical.

remembered one !

I convinced myself i knew swahili after i watched this show on tv. So i went to my Kindergarten teacher and told her that, and she believed me! My mom got a call later that day from the teacher asking how I learned it.

I thought that when it said “NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS” on lip balm, it meant that the company of the makeup was stating that they didn’t know what would happen if you put some on your pets so if it died or something, they wouldn’t assume responsibility for it.

I thought that PKWY (parkway) stood for Pinkyway.

I thought that the word “teenager” meant “mailman.”

I used to think Mayo Clinic and Sloan Kettering were colleges. Good job, Mom and Dad, indoctrinating an ignorant, impressionable child whom they wanted to grow up to be a doctor.

I used to believe that when people said that it was raining cats and dogs, they really meant it (which is frightening for a kid who was scared ****less of both animals back then)
