<p>Based on what I hear and the types of people I see that get in, I think that for UChicago, it all really mostly matters on your essays and recommendations. </p>

<p>Also, on the accepted thread, I saw a guy who was 1/400, 4.00 gpa, won a bunch of awards, team captain for a varsity sport, near perfect SAT, participated in national competitions, ect. And was black, but didn’t get in.</p>
