<p>hey, rice-obsessive, do you know if every semi-finalist finds out whether or not they make finalist (still didn’t get any letter)…and if its any consolation, i got rejected flat out from rice a well…</p>

<p>Yep Denied- not even deferred. I also made sure to make a point that Rice was my first choice college and that the only reason I didnt apply ED was financial considerations. I took 2 APs last year and Im taking 8 this year, and doing fairly well in them. I also had a very strong <em>so I thought</em> essay which was quirky as well as a long thought out Box…</p>
