Ideas for a warm weather vacation this winter

I was going to suggest Malta but saw the CST+1/-1

Akumal!! With Mayan ruins and cenotes

Culebra. Relatively cheap and awesome.

Southeast Asia. Very cheap when there. Think Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Loas , Vietnam

Went to St. Petersburg/ Tampa area of Florida a few years ago. Went to anexcellant Dali museum, a wonderful bird sanctuary and a Living Body exhibition ( probably not there now). But there were many interesting things to see in a few days.

Loved Akumal. Rented a wonderful home on the beach with a casita and pool. Had a grounds person and you could have someone in to cook a few dinners. Lots to do. The owner also put us in touch with a driver/van person to tour Chichen Itz. Great cenotes, Coba, Tulum. Just a great time.

Recently I saw that Arcosanti has rooms on Airbnb. If in Scottsdale, the Cosanti foundation, which is where Paolo Solari had his workshop, also has tours.

Though I haven’t been there in years, Santa Fe might be a far more romantic destination than Phoenix, with the galleries and SW culture more in evidence. But not as warm in winter, either.
