Not growing? Turning yellow or brown???

All drooped over

I’ve gotten started with the containers again with these seedlings; golden bell pepper, grape tomato, basil.

Mum, is there good drainage?? Feel the dirt - how does, it feel??

Are you talking to me? I have to wonder if the cold did it in, even though I brought it into the garage then

I have no idea why my iPad typed “Mum” - so sorry! Yes, was talking to you JYM!!

I get wacko typos on my Ipad, and siri dictation ( on my phone) is even weirder. No worries.
The drainage is fine, and I try to water every morning, without overwatering. But we also had some awful rain and I wonder if that was too much for the plant. Or the cold snap. I haven’t checked on it today, but it looked really sad yesterday. Might it need more sun? I can try moving it

If the temps aren’t very warm, more sun can’t hurt.

One of my neighbors told me that dill doesn’t like too much water, and mine is in a container that got 6" of rain last week. Am going to drill holes in said container so excess water will drain.

Bumping the thread to go along with the 2014 edition . My tomatoes (sweet 100s) are huge already- growing out of the top of the cages. ANd have many green tomatoes already on the plants. Dill dies but mint and basil are ok (basil froze but is coming back)

Tomatoes I planted are hanging in there…I water them and give them some attention, but I have neglected them too much and they aren’t what they should be…my real job gets priority over garden…just so much time in a day.

take care of those maters!

Anyone use a packaged manure brand called ‘Bovung’? Purchased some over the weekend from Home Depot and belatedly realized it was NOT COMPOSTED, just dehydrated. Now I’m nearly having nightmares about E.Coli contamination of my garden vegetables. Anyone have any experience/knowledge on this subject?

Cow? Horse? Chicken? Bovung must be related to bovine…

I would mix it with compost and let it age a bit. See if the package says anything about it being sterilized, but I wouldn’t worry unless someone in your family is immunocompromised. Then be careful about washing or peeling what you harvest.

This should be a link to a google search of “gardenweb dehydrated manure”.

I’m reading that it will not burn roots.
