<p>I believe some of the responses are not totally correct</p>
<p>If you apply to a school ED1 and get accepted … assuming the financial aid package is OK you committed to attend this school and must withdraw your other applications. Note, the review of the financial package will likely happen in a vacuum with benefit of seeing other offers. There is no waiting to see other packages. </p>
<p>ED2 is similar to ED1 just timed later … but your acceptance is still likely to early enough that you’ll have to make the accept/don’t accept choice before seeing any other offers.</p>
<p>If a school is SCEA and you are accepted you can wait to decide to accept or not and get to see your other financial packages … however you can not apply to other schools either ED or EA. (non-restrictive EA applications do allow you to apply to a ED school and other EA schools).</p>
