If someone indicates that they think that you are not doing well in school, how

<p>…perceive as an “inferior” or a “loser” is better than them in some aspect of life?</p>

<p>Is it wiser to downplay your achievements (you swallow your ego, but at least you don’t make enemies and don’t upset anyone) or to tell them the truth and let them suffer (hopefully they’ll learn not to think they are better than people)?</p>

<p>I think the latter option is wiser because you are potentially doing them and the people they interact with a favor.</p>
