I did not visit them all so this is hard…Deerfield?

(PS. Ask your question once you answer :))

So I’ll restart…

HADES+Groton+Milton and into a ****ty college (not community, but bad nonetheless)

OR

public and into and into HYPSM

Sorry;)
public and great university, although I am choosing boarding school

Middlesex or St Georges?

St. Georges (Even though I am not a Christian, I would like to go to a religiously affiliated school, I would learn sooo much).

X school with a bunch of connections and great alum network which helps you get great jobs great education. Good experience.

Y school with amazing education. Great experience

Y school. you are only young once and I can work on the other stuff in university. I imagine all the schools we are talking about have some great alum and networking.
You do great ones but mine are boring…
X school where you know people already
Y school where you know no one.

sorry, this has nothing to do with the choosing, but…
purpoisepal, in your inital post, you mentioned another forum.
What was that website? jw

Well X school but you need to put a contrasting element such as:

X school you know people but academics not as good as Y school where you do not know people. In that case I would chose Y, easily.

Deerfield or Hotchkiss

Deerfield
I assumed X and Y were equal above.
school X great reputation but uptight
school y minor blights but more relaxed

Y

SPS or Loomis

@Hammer, X (I can live with uptight environment to get a great education)
@1v1, SPS

SPS or Hotchkiss

Hotchkiss

Groton or Lville?

Groton

Lville or Peddie

Lville !
Milton or Middlesex

Milton (no doubt!)

Amazing education school with little diversity (no FA)

Great education school with a lot of FA

Assuming you need NO fa, basically contrasting factors are diversity or education (amazing>great)… I would chose the one with more diversity.

The one with more FA. <- This is because I need FA, lol

If I were full-pay though, I think I’d pick the one with the amazing education. Besides, I would meet lots of diversity in college and it IS school, haha. Education > Everything else (I think)

School X: Your best friend is going there, best ECs and clubs, great education, 50/50 boarding/day

School Y: A few friends (although not too close), best classes and education, average ECs and clubs, 100% boarding.

“Assuming you need no FA”

In your options I think both are truly equal.

school with a few friends. go meet new buddies!

X: national ranking school in your favorite sport with good academics
Y: top school without your favorite sport and amazing academics (assuming you have to give up that sport)

FA at both

X

A: High school with terrible internet and little to no phone service, but good food and excellent dorms and campus life.

or
B: High school in the middle of nowhere with dull campus life, shabby dormitories, and terrible food, but excellent internet service and (ironically) excellent phone service.

Both have top notch academics, sports, extracurriculars, etc.

A

hotchkiss or deerfield

@1J0A6L6: A
@mpicz: Hotchkiss

Exeter or Le Rosey. Assuming you have to pay 0 for both.
