i have a small dog now but always had bigger dogs.</p>
<p>it depends. how well trained is the big dog? Is the small dog yippy and annoying? (personally, i’d go with a medium-small dog, maybe a cocker spaniel or a golden retriever on the small side? the only dog that I really LOVE is my great-aunt’s dog Georgia. She’s a mutt, but she definitely has some bloodhound and maybe a bit of dalmatian. she is the sweetest, gentlest, most well behaved dog I have ever seen.) labradoodles are cute and pugs are too, both are a good size. In any case, I am more of a cat person myself.</p>
