If you had $10million to build a dream home, what would you put in it?

<p>Looking at my long driveway covererd in ice, I’d get a heating system under my new driveway so we would never have to shovel ice or snow.</p>

<p>I think the house is probably shingle style … oceanfront. With a cabana-style deck in the dunes. Nice outdoor shower, meaning glass block and tile floor with direct access to the house. Fenced grassed run for the dogs. Master suite that’s a mini apartment with a study, exercise room, and wet bar. Separate accessory bedrooms with en-suite baths, also a small and adorable guest house. Stable – perhaps across the street. Needs a covered round pen, so it looks like a carousel at the shore, grassy turnouts, and elegant stable interior. Also needs a nice outdoor riding arena, preferably grassed and near the beach. </p>

<p>I’d buy a really nice condo somewhere (NYC/London: $7-8mil range, Chicago: $5 mil range, SF/Seattle: $5 mil range, Toronto/Boston/Auckland/Sydney: $3-5 mil, any one will do) and then spend the rest furnishing it.</p>

<p>I would buy a grand piano and build walls around it, with a really sturdy section to build a safe for the rest of the money.</p>

<p>Oh and I’d get an awesome tutor.</p>

<p>I’d keep my current house and use the money to create jobs: a chef, a dance instructor, a house band, an obsessive cleaner, a master gardener, a librarian, a party planner, etc.</p>
