<p>One time I was at waitlist position ~ 70 for cell bio (Spring 2010). I dropped it because a 70 person waitlist is ridiculous (and it eventually got to >100). After the first 2 weeks of the quarter, my friend who was auditing the class told me that the professor ended up dropping the waitlist and allowing everyone on it into the class. Moral of the story, if you’re on the waitlist, it’s not necessarily the end of the world.</p>
