If you were granted one selfish wish, what would it be?

I have many wishes. This is a choose-your-favorite-wish post:

  1. I have memory issues, anxiety/depression, a host of physical issues, and a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad family medical history. Physical and mental health would be a blessing. I’d travel and live to be 99 years old, then die peacefully in my sleep the night before a huge centennial birthday extravaganza. (Yeah, it’s a little mean-spirited, but everyone would be there for the funeral, right?)
  2. I’m a low-energy night owl. The world is not kind to my people. Becoming an energetic early riser would be wonderful.
  3. I’d love to be able to hire someone who would style my hair and give me an hour massage daily, then serve as my chauffeur so I never, ever have to drive again. (Trust me, this would be a blessing to the world at large.)

Can you tell I’ve put some thought into this?

P.S. Don’t think I didn’t notice that a few of you have sneaked back in with a second wish. I’m being up-front about my greed, which I think earns me at least two of the three wishes. :))

Okay, I’ll put out my selfish, goofy wish. I wish I had a giant server in my house with all genealogical data on it that has ever been scanned or digitized. And new info would keep flowing in. This would bring my favorite hobby to fantastic new heights once I’m an empty nester. I’d like to share it with the world, but I guess I’m too selfish!

I did something selfish today. I bought an antique end table that I spotted a week ago.It is very similar to a piece that was handed down to me and also similar to an antique dry sink that I bought years ago from a local antique shop

Second most selfish wish for myself (I posted earlier) is that I am a mother if a successful entertainer.

The most exciting and full of pride moments in my parenthood, and maybe life, are the moments watching my kids perform. They each were so talented. ( For instance, S was often the male lead in many local plays with a young lady who was in the original cast of Hamilton.)

My S is still the most involved. So I wish he was recognized.

It is totally selfish as it is bragging or swagging rights!
