<p>luciDream: It’s not the quality of the premed program that is why this school is sometimes considered bad for premed… The program itself is fantastic. The problem is that it is significantly harder to have a good GPA here than it is at other schools. Unfortunately, med schools are notorious for looking only at the numeric GPA and MCAT scores and not taking into account where you actually studied. So yeah, you’ll probably have to work harder at the premed program here than you would at most other schools, but you’ll also get a lot more out of it (hopefully).</p>
