I'm in a tough situation...

Hello!

I was wondering of ways to get at least a 26 on the ACT.
I have 5-6 weeks of preparation and I continuously get a 23 on my practice tests.
It’s quite discouraging to see my scores. I feel that I do well and in the end, it’s not what I hoped.
Here are my scores for each section of the most recent test:
English: 24
Math: 20
Reading: 25
Science: 21

I am not sure what your preparation has consisted of. You likely have used the “Real ACT book” but if not
you might well try it. http://www.actstudent.org/testprep/book.html

Many people also find Barron’s helpful and there are other prep books and many released tests with answer keys: there are links on this website:

There are good online video resources to help you. You might try checking youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9B99BD1005632B6D

here are some for math - sample - there are more - this series goes over an entire test:

Hope this helps!

Yes. You can move to a 26. Focus on math questions 1 to 45. See if you can get 38 to 40 of them right. use real Act test. For science I want you to do three real Act science sections. Time yourself. And review what you get wrong. See if you can identify what you are getting wrong.

For math if you are having trouble understanding WHy your answers are wrong try the ACT Quantum website. The videos there are excellent.

You can do this!
