<p>Also guys the reason i shared the numbers was because this is EARLY admission- Yale isn’t looking to fill their class with this group of kids- the are simply the building blocks to which they will add. There isn’t any reason to pick on someone who is upset- when they have worked hard and put themselves on the line- they deserve a moment to “vent” I don’t think that it has anything to do with “quotas” but obviously they can’t take an entire class from Australia any more than they could NC or NJ. And there are probably 1500 capable and qualified people in all 3 locations. I don’t think it is a “crapshoot” there is method to the madness but because they are YALE…they are going to have to reject/defer some and everyone knew that at the beginning. So let the hurt take a moment to heal before we go jumping on anybody’s backs. I have 2 very qualified students at my house one got in the other was deferred. So…I can see both sides to this story!!! It makes it very hard on both.</p>
