Importance of majors in Ivy schools

Both Harvard and Yale have selective majors which you must apply for…but again, listing them before you enroll doesn’t increase your odds of being accepted.

While that is true, a prospective student should make note of whether any of his/her possible majors is a selective major before deciding on a college.
