The whole campus has a consistent vision to its layout and architecture. </p>

<p>If you check [TripAdvisor[/url</a>], many are visiting Miami as a tourist attraction because of the beautiful facilities/landscaping.</p>

<p>This reconfirms what has often been noted on CC: Miami is one of the best values available; providing private-like education at a public price.</p>

<p>It certainly is a beautiful campus although my son was just as impressed that it took the top spot for “Top Hottest Girls”…that’s a teenage boy for you!</p>

<p>I believe that the most impressing recognition is being #3 (previous years #2) in UG teaching.</p>

<p>Speaking as an architect I was impressed when our son toured Miami - where he ended up attending. Unlike many college campuses Miami didn’t make the mistake and build that one big, stupid, Modern highrise dormitory building and goof up the quality and scale of the campus. Sure it’s strictly controlled and architects like to be able to do their thing - I do - but in this case they made the right choices. It’s consistent, human-scaled, and very walkable.</p>
