@red4213 I have three talent based scholarships! I guess I will mention it in my awards section B-)
Oh my goodness! That’s really amazing, congrats!
^:)^ Thank you Red, you are too nice to me :)>-
@red42413. Yeah. IMSA is kind of stressing the hell(excuse my language) out of me. I’m sure I’ll look back when everything works out and laugh. I’m stressed over little IMSA, wonder what’ll happen for medical school.
@YoloSwagMaster You will be devastated with applying for medical school… >:) Just joking… You might get confident during IMSA time… I am also going to apply to a medical school… neurosurgery is my main interest… :-B
@javascript Given your username I’d have thought you were interested in web development, lol
As for my level of stress, I think it has hit the roof, haha! I have 2 of the essays to write and then I have to edit them. I also only have 2 days to do this. Gaaahhhh and I have homework.
RIP me
These essays play a humongous part in admissions. So we need to make it perfect.
It is quiet here today… I assume, everybody writing their essays #:-S
Yeah, I was checking all day to see what was going on. Nobody’s doing anything. For anyone who has submitted there application, we should compare essays.
Today’s a weird day, I don’t have to worry about studying for the SAT or applying to IMSA. It’s been 2 years since I’ve had this freedom #:-S
@javascript. I just realized I used the same emoji you did.
Great minds think alike
@YoloSwagMaster #:-S
am i smart now
@YoloSwagMaster nice quote … however, you are IN 99% of chance, I am - less than 25%… Anyway, how important parents statement is?
Huh, I actually don’t know. Lmao, I have like bookmarks on top of bookmarks of IMSA admission stuff but I’ve never seen people talk about the Parent Statement.
Well, I better ask this way: if grammatical errors in parent statement will hurt me?
Now that everyone has submitted their apps, you guys can spend all the free time you have to think about accepting or declining your invitation to attend IMSA! If you have any questions about residential, academic or social life here, be sure to ask! I have more than enough time on my hands since the semester is just starting cough not really but whatever cough
No, the only problem is if you have grammatical errors. You should be fine. @javascript
I don’t even need to think for a second, if I get accepted. I’m going.
I have a question regarding the “required” computer science course for sophomores. Is there a way to waive myself from taking that if I already have significant experience in CS? I don’t want to be taking an incredibly easy course that will only just give me more homework
Nevermind. Apparently the only way to skip the CS class is if I score a 4 or higher on the AP Computer Science A exam, which is a class I’m not taking. Darn.
You don’t need to take an AP course to take the AP test, I believe. Perhaps see if your school will allow you to take the test.
