How do you submit the essays? Mine say that they’re uploading and have said that for the past 5 hours… What format should I do? I tried Pages and Google Drive
@chicagonerd I uploaded my in PDF. Still waiting to connect to the server
It took me roughly 7 hours from 10 pm to 5 am. It just took so long.
@YoloSwagMaster was it the same problem with the IMSA admission server bandwidth during application submission last year ?? Or we are having many more people this year?
I thought IMSA was getting a way superior software for submitting applications /
Is this software new or the same like last year? Anybody know? If IMSA is so tight with money to purchase a better server?
@YoloSwagMaster My roommate has a MacBook, she has some troubles (such as submitting assignments etc). However, it is definately reccomended to bring your own laptop. The laptops we got this year are quite literally trash.
@YoloSwagMaster One bad thing about IMSA…everyone has their own things. Personally I dislike the food the most. I enjoy most of my classes, the one’s I don’t enjoy are tolerable, but food is the one thing that I absolutely hate 
@javascript As far as I can remember, it wasn’t this hard to submit last year but that was with a different format and site and stuff. Plus a lot of my app was paper last year 
I think they tried to make it quicker this year but, as a lot know, conceptualization is not always execution.
Also, just throwing this question out there, if everyone tries when the server is back up, won’t that mean that the same problem will happen?
For some reason, they are downloading if I take a screenshot of my essays. Should I just do that?
@chicagonerd if it is the only way to upload and send it, I would do so… @red42413 I finally decided to push “confirm application submission” at 1 pm without printing it, and it is still on “confirm application submission” screen, trying to access admission server… I missed the school today… :-S Server is not back for me
ok, it was submitted but not updated version, as I was afraid… no parents statements and some changes not there… :-<
i turned mine in during school at around 9:30am
i ended up just taking screenshots of my essays because the pages version wouldn’t upload

make sure you log out and back in to see if it’s 100%

@ck1012 i would recommend to keep uploading, logging out, and back in. it worked for me anyway. from what i can see from other people’s posts, turning it in as an incomplete application is the best solution if it won’t save.
yes, I called IMSA and they re-opened it for me to update missing parts @ck1012
I got mine reopened but it still didnt work
I was able to submit mine this morning. It was at 100% when I uploaded it and then it went down to 84%. By lunch it was back to a hundered so if it goes down when uploaded maybe just wait a little bit. Good luck you guys.
@ck1012 it did not work for me first too after reopening, but something happened and it got updated… I was on the phone with IMSA second time, may be they did something…
Can you make changes to your application after it was submitted? I changed one of my essays today and I don’t know if IMSA will see it.
