In one nation!

When I reported many of the posts, it reminded of the days of the Ostrogoths and Visigoths who charged into many of the Roman Cities in the end days of the Empire. Romulus Augustulus knew that defeat was certain; defeat became reality when Augustulus had to sign the terms of surrender by Odoacer. Odoacer=RogerDooley LogisticsLord=Romulus Augustulus. Almost poetic justice in the making.

I feel like I’m in 9th grade history class. Except CC is being alluded with Roman history.

You probably imagine a british accent because I take pride in my writing. A lot of the people here say," Duh, them thar CRIZUNS are dumzorz, LOLZ."

You know homosexuality and Rome is a pretty interesting thing to look up…I came across it by accident on wikipedia…can’t say if the info is true or not.

dufus (there was a number following his name but I can’t remember it), BestMiler1, AcceptedAlready, celebrian25, citygirlsmom, zoosermom, edad, Drew00, Drab, UCLAri, Roger_Dooley (surprised no one mentioned him yet),curmudgeon, Northstarmom, -Allmusic-, mini, Heavenwood, Murasaki, Somebody1…ehh, there’s more but I can’t remember them at the moment and some of the people don’t actually post much but what they did post I must have liked or thought interesting for me to have remembered them.

Justinian I is one of my favorite historical figures; although I must say that Odoacer comes in a close second. The mighty Roman Empire fell to a lowly Germanic tribesman named Odoacer. Hah, ironic is it not?

Justinian, I take pride in your writing too :D

My writing stems from multiple sources, yes. From the beginning, I learned the proper facets of english grammar whilst still in elementary school. While you all were coloring in elementary school, I was learning about gerunds, elliptical clauses, and subordinating conjuctions. Whilst I was in middle school, I was taught the fundamentals of writing such as the use of a strong thesis statement and avoiding trite expressions. Now, I understand fully the proper tenets of writing.

We weren’t coloring…we were making Christmas tree ornaments out of dog treats…much more practical…

“I started posted here frequently around March, school is just a bit more pertinent than CC.”

Ahem, but Justinian, that’s not proper grammar.

dvl, you sound upset. Are you jealous of Justinian?

I doubt anyone is jealous of justinian. :)

I like pulling his leg. Though it seems he ignores me most of the time. That upsets me.

He ignores me too, as you’ve heard me say.

Justinian…

are you still reading???

I want to add Drew00 because I like reading his posts…he posts on a lot of modern issues…

All you guys spelled my name wrong.

No, we didn’t.

“I started posted” was a mere typo. I already admitted to my fault of the elimination of the semicolon. I apologize.

Justinian…

are you still reading???

Pardon? Reading what?

These, IMO, are the best posters as follows:
UCLAri
Everkingly
Icarus
Trancestorm
Fountainsiren
Katharos

That is it. These posters exemplify true intelligence and thought. Most of these folks were from the “God” thread, the one in which you all did not participate.

We don’t like agruing about religion.
