<p>I have two reliable pairs of prescription readers, one around my neck in the daytime and one next to the bed for evening, plus a half dozen of the Costco ones around the house. Works for me!</p>

<p>If you want fancy for going out, then go to a Brighton store and pick out a cute set for your purse…then keep the cheaper ones around the house, next to the bed, etc.</p>

<p>abasket - It is not heavy at all and looks so nice on…like a nice piece of jewelry. I have been using it for two years.</p>

<p>I realized we have a Brighton store in the area - have never been in it - I’m not a big “accessories” person - hope to check it out this weekend! (will still need to find a snazzy pair of glasses to go with the snazzy chain though!</p>

<p>I have an eyeglass chain from icu made from heavy nylon and glass beads, but the holder on one end is broken.
I’m thinking of making a couple pairs.</p>

<p>After Seiclan posted, I realized we had a Brighton Collectibles here that I have never been to. I took a trip there and ended up buying the same chain Seiclan noted above (it’s PERFECT!) and these readers:

<p>Was a little more than I wanted to pay, but these will entertain my eyes and neck everyday at work when I need them the most so I figured I wanted something that looked legit! They do! </p>

<p>Thanks so much for the tip. What a cute store. My 15 year old D came with me and was also impressed - we’ve walked past it many times! I’m not a big accessory person so never stopped in. The staff was extremely helpful and D was sucked right in when shortly after we walked in the door, a staff member came up to us and offered right out of the oven chocolate chip cookies and cold bottles of water! The sales lady was extremely helpful when we needed her to be and very patient. All in all, a good experience. :)</p>

<p>Brighton has some outlet stores as well! I’ve been able to find very nice teacher gifts there in the past as well as stocking stuffers.</p>

<p>Nordstrom has a good selection of readers in the $40-$70 range. I have found them more comfortable than the grocery store glasses I usually purchase.</p>

<p>I also have a few of the icueyewear stashed in the car and around the house. They are a step above most drugstore/supermarket brands for selection and quality, and not expensive, around $20. They are durable too. I pick them up at my Whole Foods.</p>
