<p>Playing with the NPCs have been an eye-opening exercise. The range of EFC was wider than I thought it would be. The safety school - academically it’s a low match but we’re showing the school a lot of love - was by far the cheapest (but I knew that would be the case) and the academic reaches were by far the most expensive. </p>
<p>What was surprising was how the other schools fell in the pecking order. Some schools I expected to be too expensive actually showed themselves to be quite generous - of course, this assumes that reality matches estimates.</p>
