@Rookie,

I am a full B/K, MDS, and NMS. I receive the published COA. So after tuition/room/board/books/fees are paid by my scholarships, I get a check every semester.

at first I was concerned. But I love it here now. One big plus is Maryland’s policy on AP credit. At my other choices, I would have been forced to retake many of the intro courses for which I had AP credit since they cap the amount of credit you can use. Here at Maryland there is no cap, so I will be a “senior” next semester (my fourth) and will take many more advanced courses than I would have had time to take elsewhere. I also had fears that Maryland might limit my options(such as summer research) but this has proven not to be true. I could not be happier.
