Including Remedial Classes for UC TAG???

You should add the yoga class to your tag. If you withdraw it, then you’ll need to submit it. And if you resubmit it you won’t get pushed down the list. The date of when you submit a TAG doesn’t matter, as long as it’s within the filing period. If you have the GPA and class requirements, then you’ll get your TAG accepted regardless of the date, again as long as it’s within the filing period.

My daughter showed her TAG application to a Tag counselor at SBCC and the counselor saw a few errors. She had to withdraw the application, correct the information and then resubmit it…so if you are doing this you need to make sure it is within the filing period.

What kind of errors were they? I wanna keep an eye out on mine…

they don’t calculate any non-transferable courses into your GPA. They only consider the Assist-Transferable courses for admission.

For the TAG, they will be looking at your assist certified courses, in addition the admissions office will review your non-certified courses from outside the community college if you attended a non-CCC. If courses from outside the CCC are determined to be transferable they will become part of your cumulative GPA which will determine if you meet TAG or not.
