Glad things are progressing for you.
Go to orientation and other new student info sessions they have for semester 2. Take the time off from work to do so.

I may be misunderstanding your plans, but make sure to get your housing settled. I did not realize you were not living on campus in dorms on the other strand… That will impact your ability to maintain a decent GPA if you are not set up with housing that has internet and is a consistent location.
Go meet with the folks at financial aid so you understand how to pay for you books and other items if you are using loans.
