Incomplete FASA & CSS

Are you saying there is a name difference between the SS administration and your daughter’s name on her applications?

Yes…you need to get that straightened out ASAP as well.

Yes- that is the entire problem. Her last name is not hyphenated but for some reason it was flagged as having one. Thus, SS has to reconcile the change with FASA although her passport is correct. It was totally unexpectedly as we haven’t had any name issues in the past with anything. Yes, she definitely needs financial aid.

Do you believe that it is too late for any aid?

Did you hear from Occidental yet? They sent out acceptances by priority mail last week. We live in So. Cal. and my son got his yesterday. The financial aid was all spelled out, and this was in spite of our not sending in all the info they need (W-2’s, tax returns). They said the package would not be official until they got all the information, but they had no problem with making an initial offer.

No such luck- absolutely anywhere thus far…Things are not looking good at all.
Trying to keep her holding her head up and keeping Faith in HIM!
Congrats to all who are receiving positive news!!!
