Inexpensive place to buy furniture?

My son and his friends are renting a house this semester and I need to furnish a bedroom at least.</p>

<p>Besides IKEA where are some inexpensive furniture stores in the area around Pitt? Ones that deliver would be even better.

I am looking at the ikea site and can’t find anything that cheap! Do they have things in the store that are inexpensive or am I just not finding the good stuff? My daughter needs furniture and is on a tight budget.

<p>Honestly use Craigslist and even Facebook. I have heard of many MANY people selling their beds, couches, tables, etc. for under $50 an item. Although it’s often “you-haul” you could try to coordinate to pick up everything in one day, and rent a uhaul for cheap. Or ask around and see if a friend has a big car they’d be willing to drive.</p>
