@mamawitch I live in VA and i can say CNU has a great reputation. My son is applying but probably will go somewhere else. I know the leadership program has a great reputation. I was very impressed with the campus and its good for kids that dont want to live off campus as most students live on campus all 4 years. Not sure what goes on during the weekends but I am sure your daughter would find a group of friends she can either hang with or maybe go home with them if they live close by.
Thanks for your feedback @jgwolf I thought the campus was beautiful and my daughter does seem to want more off an on campus school. Looking forward to getting notifications so she can make decisions based on where she’s actually gotten accepted!!
If she ends up picking CNU, I’d love to know! I am a current OOS student from NH and it’s always nice to know someone else from the area aka New England.
when we visited in February, the tour guide we had was from Long Island. It’s not New England, but it’s also not NoVA.
@deliberately Thanks for reaching out! She did not end up choosing CNU though. One suggestion I had for her if she did go there was to start a club for students from New England! With such a low percentage of OOS students I thought it would be a way to help meet fellow Northerners ?
