<p>I’m just a parent but I do know that you can AP-out of the writing course. You can also AP-out of a lot of the core courses which is very helpful especially if you double major. Your questions will be covered and answered during orientation as you will discuss all this with your student orientation leader and advisers. This orientation is designed for you to go over registration, formulate a preliminary academic and extracurricular road map and to make the entire process easier for you as well as breaking the ice, becoming familiar with the campus, etc. Your group will be assigned a time when you actually register for the fall classes before you leave orientation and you will have lots of guidance.</p>
