<p>Illegal and wouldn’t work anyway. Patient needs the Insurance ID card AND a photo ID card in these parts to get care. No doctor around here would take a new patient without both.</p>

<p>Agreed with others…a high deductible health insurance plan should cost you much less than what you are posting here.</p>

<p>We have an individual Anthem BC/BS policy $1500 deductible/$2000 a year prescription plan for DS at $166 per month…and he had a preexisting condition.</p>

<p>Shop around. In the meantime…pay for the medical care. It will be far cheaper than the lawyer you will hire for insurance fraud if you try to use someone else’s insurance.</p>

<p>No mater what it is, putting it on someone else’s record might bring up big problems later.
I know it’s tempting - we tend to think of insurance as a family thing. Don’t to it!</p>
