<p>They’re changing it every year. For my class of 2016, anyone who was a capstone or honors college student who listed IB was pre admitted as long as they meet the class requirements and held a 3.5</p>
<p>What I heard from David Deweil (Vice Principal of Capstone) is that the class of 2017 Capstone Scholars will have to keep a 3.8 gpa to keep their pre admittance for IB. </p>
<p>They do limit the amount of International Business students. Traditionally it’s around 200 per year. It is extremely comparative to get into if you are not Capstone or Honors, but I have heard of students who have gotten in. </p>
<p>A 4.4 gpa with a 29/30 should get you into Capstone easy enough! Great program. But the IB admittance thing changes every year, but at South Carolina, a 3.8 is very easy to obtain if you can prioritize your time well. Hope this helps!</p>
