<p>^I don’t think they intended a prompts to be easier or harder. It all depends on your expertise on whether you think a certain prompt is easy or hard. If it happens that you just finished a novel having a theme related to the prompt, then the essay would obviously seem easier.</p>
<p>I highly doubt the internationals would be scaled different. Internationals make the curve go up because they’re self-selective. </p>
<p>But I agree that the writing prompt is different probably because of the time zone difference.</p>
