International Public Health/Public Health major?

Public Health Schools are usually graduate-level programs. At the undergrad level, a number of universities now offer a major, minor, or certificate program called “Global Health”. So, search under that term. Sometimes, it’s offered as a track in an interdisciplinary International Relations or International Studies program. Also at the undergrad level, some nursing schools offer some coursework and study abroad options, though it seems to be a more common option at the MSN level under Global Health nursing or International Nursing. Check the nursing schools at UPenn or Case Western Reserve for more on this. Finally, you will find options in anthropology departments that offer coursework in medical anthropology. Michigan, for example, offers a minor in medical anthropology. You also might find relevant coursework in some nutrition programs, especially those at large land grant universities, such as Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Cornell, that have significant involvement in international development. At the graduate level, check schools of public health. Tulane would be a good one to look into. Tufts’ graduate school in nutrition offers relevant coursework as well
