<p>Oh no, mini, black socks with brown shoes will look silly. OP - get socks that match the shoes as much as possible, or if not, then try to match the pants. You might get away with navy, but no black.</p>
<p>Let’s split a few hairs on sock color! I like to match the shoe, but if that is not possible, then match the pants. Nothing in between! Also, when in doubt, a shade darker is better than a shade lighter (than the shoe or pants).</p>
